About Me

Hi, this is Haochen You. I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Virginia, where I am fortunate to be working under the guidance of Prof. Shangtong Zhang in the Sequential Intelligence Lab (SIL). My current research interests primarily focus on the theory and applications of reinforcement learning, and I am also interested in the latest advancements in generative models and agent-based systems.

Before joining UVA, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and I subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Statistics at Columbia University.
